Policies

Your appointments are extremely important to all of us at The Artistic. Our reservation confirmation system and cancellation policies allow us the time to accommodate as many guests’ reservations as possible while keeping our staff’s schedules full.


Reservation Confirmation:

As a courtesy, we provide reservation confirmations via phone call, text or email 2 to 3 days in advance of your reservation. If we fail to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your reservation date and time.

Any reservations scheduled for more than 2 hours, may require a credit card to hold the reservation.


Cancellation Policy:

We understand that scheduling conflicts sometimes arise; we kindly ask that you give 48 hours’ notice when cancelling an appointment.

  • Appointments that are not cancelled within the allotted time may result in a 50% charge of the reserved service’s price.
  • Guests who fail to show up to their appointment will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
  • For appointments made less than 48 hours in advance, we ask that you reschedule or cancel no less than 4 hours before your scheduled time to avoid cancellation fees.

Late Arrivals:

We ask that you arrive on time for your scheduled reservation to avoid having your appointment rescheduled or having charges assessed. To keep our staff on schedule, guests who arrive more than 10 minutes late may have their appointments rescheduled. Guests who arrive late may also be charged a fee of 50% of the reserved service cost.

For guests who arrive late or fail to show up to their appointments, we reserve the right to require a credit card to hold all future services scheduled.


Cell Phones:

In order for us to maintain a calm and relaxing atmosphere for you and other guests, we respectfully request all cell phones be set to silent while in the salon. As a courtesy to our service providers, we also ask that phone conversations during your appointment be limited to those of an urgent or emergency nature. 


Children in the Salon:

We LOVE children; many of us have children. However, for safety purposes and and in order to provide a relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests, we would appreciate that children not be brought to the salon unless, of course, they are receiving a service. 


Gratuities:

Gratuities are a voluntary token of appreciation for a job well done, and are by no means mandatory. The Artistic does not allow the addition of a gratuity onto any credit card charges; credit cards are run for the amount of purchase only. If you choose to tip your service provider, please do so directly by cash or check.


Bridal Policies:

We recommend wedding services be performed as follows:

  • Facials: 2-3 weeks prior
  • Haircut and color: 1-2 weeks prior 
  • Trial hair and make-up: 1 week prior
  • Waxing: 3-5 days prior, 5-7 days for sensitive skin
  • Manicure and pedicure: 1 day prior

Prices reflect wedding party services performed Monday through Saturday at the salon. On-site wedding services, or services performed on Sunday, may be available for an additional cost. Bridal services require a trial session, while all others are wedding day only. In order to maintain an organized, calm atmosphere, we recommend keeping outside activity to a minimum.  Our stylists take your wedding day seriously and want you to have the best experience possible! 

Breakfast rolls, fruit and/or muffins, champagne or sparkling cider, and orange juice will be provided on the day of your wedding. 

A deposit equal to one-half of all reservations made for the wedding day must be paid at the time of scheduling. All deposits are refundable for cancellations within 72 hours of notification.
